Once he had bought the boat he would go away at weekends and usually took Gavin or Piers along with him. My mum jumped at the chance of making me go as well so she could keep me away from Kev, but after a couple of times on my own Kev decided to come along too, and was able to help fix the electrics on the boat amongst other things.

...He became Prince of Wales in 1958 and his investiture was in 1969 at Caernarfon Castle in Wales. Over the years he has been involved in many charities with a particular interest in climate change. He founded the youth charity the Princes Trust in 1976 and also owns and runs the Duchy of Cornwall estates. He married Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005 and together they will now rule the new monarchy from Buckingham Palace supported by his son and heir William and other members of the Royal family. We wish them well in their future together.
