Whodunit in the Library? #26

...with the rats as they continued to invade the house. One day, I went into the kitchen and opened my mum’s desk drawer to find one all snuggled up inside! My, did I scream! Not sure who was more scared – me or the rat! Another day I saw one scurry off down the Chapel Hall and into the Library – I really hoped a visitor didn’t see it! In an attempt to kill them off my dad poured rat poison down the holes in the floorboards in the kitchen and our lounge. Within a couple of weeks we knew they were dead – because of the awful smell! So even when we didn’t have to worry about rats in the house, we had to contend with the stench of them decay...Whodunit in the Library? #25

...“rats, rats – on the bookshelves!” I rushed into the Library through the secret door (which made the visitors jump even more) to find them looking at our guinea pigs! How could they think our lovely pets were rats? However, we did get rats in the house but that’s for another blog! The guinea pigs were safely put back into their hutch - not long after this we discovered that one of them was expecting babies! Not sure what happened in the Library but they were both supposed to be girls when we bought them!
After a couple of months at college I met a boy called Kev. He was in a band and his chat up line was that they needed a singer and he was pretty sure...
