...Japanese swordsmiths were the greatest that the world has ever known. The method of making them goes back over 1000 years and was introduced by a blacksmith called Hoki Yasutsuna. He was the first person to make the single-edged curved sword and the method used by him is still used today. However, the way they tested the swords on criminals back in the day was very gory and I won’t go into it here!
