...call the Police to try and get my dad arrested. As this hadn’t worked she turned her attentions to Kev. Every time he was in the house (which was every weekend) she would call the Police and tell them something was missing from the house. Subsequently they were obliged to call on him during the following week at his parents’ house to follow up the accusation. His parents were furious as they were very proud, law abiding people and didn’t take too kindly to the Police calling round every week – whatever would the neighbours think!
